Mal 1:1 The burden of the Word of the Lord to Israel by Malachi.
Mal 1:2 I loved you says the Lord, and yet you say “HOW have you loved us?” Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? says the Lord: Yet, I loved Jacob.
Mal 1:3 I hated Esau and made the mountains of his inheritance a wasteland for the dragons of the wilderness.
Mal 1:4 It was because Edom said “You may tear us down, but we will return and rebuild the ruined places;” It is for this reason says the Lord of hosts that they will build, but I will throw it down and proclaim them as a border of wickedness among the people, of whom the Lord has indignation forever.
Mal 1:5 Your eyes shall see it and say, “The Lord has shown Himself to be magnificent to us, beyond the border of Israel.”
Mal 1:6 Sons are to honor their fathers and servants their masters: If then I am your Father, where is MY HONOR? and If I am your Master, where is your FEAR of Me? says the Lord of Hosts unto the priests that despise My name. And you say ” How have we despised your Name?”
Mal 1:7 You offer before Me, defiled bread upon My ALTAR; and you say “HOW, have we defiled you?” It is your words that make the TABLE of the LORD contemptible.
Mal 1:8 When you approach Me with blind sacrifices, is it NOT evil? Go, offer it now to your governor and see if he will be pleased with you or even accept it from you in his presence?” says the Lord of hosts.
Mal 1:9 Now, I exhort you, to become lowered and humbled before God, that there might be pity shown on such a people; because it is by your hand that you offered these things in My presence.
Mal 1:10 Who among you even closed the door? You brought light unto My altar for nothing. I have no pleasure in you says the Lord of hosts, nor will I accept offerings from out of your hands.
Mal 1:11 Because of this, out of the east, even as far as where the Sun sets, My Name will be Great among the Gentiles; Every place sacrifices are offered in My Name, pure gifts, for My Name’s sake, those people will be a great nation, says the Lord of hosts.
Mal 1:12 You have profaned with your words the Table of the Lord and polluted the fruit, so that now the food is contemptible.
Mal 1:13 Yet you say “Behold our hardships and toils” and then sigh among yourselves, says the Lord of hosts; You offered what was stolen, and the lame, and the sickly; and it was YOU that brought these offerings; should I be pleased with what comes from your hand? says the Lord.
Mal 1:14 Cursed is the deceiver that has in his flock a male, and makes his vow to sacrifice to the Lord, then offers up a corrupted thing. For I AM a great King says the Lord of hosts, and My Name shall be revered by the Gentiles.
Malachi Chapter Two
Mal 2:1 Now, you priest, this commandment is for you.
Mal 2:2 If you will not listen to it and If you do not take it to heart to give honor to My name says the Lord of hosts. I will send a curse to curse your blessings, I curse them already, if you take none of this into your hearts.
Mal 2:3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed and spread fecal matter on their faces. The fecal matter that you produced from your religious feasting, and I will carry them off to it.
Mal 2:4 You need to know this; for it is because I have sent this commandment to you, it is for the covenant that exists with Levi says the Lord of hosts.
Mal 2:5 My covenant is with him for life and peace to offer dedication in reverence and fear, showing reverence in the presence of My name.
Mal 2:6 The Law of Truth was in his mouth and injustices were not found on his lips: he walked with Me in peace and uprightness, and turned many back from out of their depravity.
Mal 2:7 It is because the priests lips keep knowledge, that the people seek the Law from their mouths: Because they are the MESSENGERS of the Lord of Hosts.
Mal 2:8 But you deviated outside of this WAY, causing the stumbling of many at the Law, and it corrupted the covenant with Levi, says the Lord of hosts.
Mal 2:9 I despised that and humbled you before all people, because of your mouths, that have not kept My WAY, but bear it, in everyone’s presence, as the Law.
Mal 2:10 Not all come from that same father, but do you not, from one God that created us all. Why do you act deceitfully men, and towards brothers, defiling the covenant of their fathers?
Mal 2:11 Judah acted deceitfully and a disgusting thing was committed in Israel and Jerusalem; for Judah polluted the holiness of the Lord, when he loved and married the daughter of a foreign god.
Mal 2:12 The Lord cut off that man (Judah) that did this, yet you incite the response of his witnesses from among the tabernacle of Jacob, to offer up offerings before the Lord of hosts.
Mal 2:13 It’s THIS that you have done as well; you cover the alter of the Lord with tears and weeping and groaning and then repent from nothing, yet you offer year after year, yet I do NOT receive it with delight from your hand.
Mal 2:14 You say “Why do you do this?” It’s because the Lord brought restoration between you and the wife of your youth,; whom you have behaved treacherously, when she is the companion and wife of My covenant.
Mal 2:15 Did He not make you one? As a remnant of His Spirit, it is WHY you become one. He seeks out godly seed. So, guard their spirits and let no one deal treacherously with the wife of his youth.
Mal 2:16 This is because the Lord God of Israel says that he hates the act of sending away, and the covering over of the signs of violence with garments, says the Lord of hosts: So, guard their spirits and do not act treacherously towards them.
Mal 2:17 You have wearied the Lord with your words, yet you say, “How have we wearied Him? When you would say “everyone that does evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and that He delights in them” or “Where is the God of justice?”
Malachi Chapter Three
Mal 3:1 Behold, I will send My messenger, to prepare the WAY before the Lord of which you seek, and He shall suddenly enter into His Temple by the messengers of the covenant, in which you delight. Behold, they shall come says that Lord of hosts!

Mal 3:4 The Tribute of Judah and Jerusalem was pleasant to the Lord in the days of old in the former years.
Mal 3:5 I will approach you to JUDGE YOU, and I WILL BE A SWIFT WITNESS against witches, adulterers, false oath takers. YOU oppressed those hired by you of their wages as well as the widow and the orphan, and extended your hand to strangers that FEAR ME NOT says the Lord of Hosts.

Mal 3:8 Mankind is robbing God, whenever you rob Me. And you say “In what way have we robbed you?” In the tithes and offerings!
Mal 3:9 You are cursed with a curse, you robbed ALL the PEOPLE.
Mal 3:10 Bring in ALL the tithes into the HOUSE of TREASURE to be supply for the HOUSE. I WILL TEST YOU with this exhortation, says the Lord of hosts, to see, If I DO NOT throw open the widows of heaven, and pour My blessings upon you, and wait until you are without what is considered enough.
Mal 3:11 And I will rebuke the devourer on behalf of you so that it does not destroy the fruits of the land; nor will I let it vine miscarry in the field says the Lord of hosts.
Mal 3:12 All nations will advance on you because you are a pleasant land says the Lord of hosts.
Mal 3:14 You words are a false service to God. How can you unjustly profit as though you are observing your obligation, and then come mournfully into the presence of the Lord of Hosts?
Mal 3:15 Now, you all believe you are making progress and have become prideful, and even work wickedness to build yourselve’s up, and test God and yet are delivered.
Mal 3:16 THEN they feared the Lord, and spoke one to another about it, and the Lord took notice and heard and a Book of Remembrance was recorded in the presence of those who feared the Lord and esteemed His name.
Mat 3:17 It will come to pass says the Lord of hosts on that day when I have accomplish what is treasured, I will show mercy upon them even as a man shows mercy on his son that serves him.
