Isa 66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

Before I start; I need to let you know that in the Original Greek there are TWO words that are translated in the KJV English as “temple” Those are “HIERON” G2411 when speaking of Herod’s Temple and “NAOS” G3485 when speaking of the Holy Place or The Body of Christ.

So I will label them big T for the Holy Place/Body of Christ and little t for Herod’s temple.

“Notice the same author Matthew is using both words Naos and Hieron in his writing. You will see the same in Mark and John”

Rev 14:15 And another angel came out of the Temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on thecloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. G3485 Naos

Rev 14:17 And another angel came out of the Temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. G3485 Naos

Rev 15:5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the Temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: G3485 Naos

Rev 15:6 And the seven angels came out of the Temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. G3485 Naos

Rev 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the Temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. G3485 Naos

Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the Temple of it. G3485 Naos

Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the “Holy Place”, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) G3485 Naos Holy Place/Body of Christ

“I don’t want to bore you with laying out the Hebrew in the Old Testament, but here are a few verses that will help fulfill the theme of what the above Greek shows.”

Jer 7:4 Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD. The temple of the LORD, are these.

Zec 6:15 And they that are far off shall come and build in the Temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.

*This is Jesus, the Body of Christ.

Mal 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His Temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: Behold, He shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

*This is indeed Jesus! And We Are HIS Temple!
