The Revelation of Jesus Christ

I will use the Original Greek only for all scripture translation and will break down by the Holy Spirit the mysteries that were revealed to me in study”

Rev 1:1-3

The Revelation of JESUS CHRIST, which GOD gave to Him, to show unto His servants the things that in time will quickly come to pass. He sent and signified it by his *messenger, His servant John, who bares record of the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ and in all those things that he SAW. Blessing to those that READ and HEAR the words of this prophecy and KEEP those things described therein:because the time is near.

*The word angel is: messenger, envoy, one who is sent, an angel, a messenger from God in Greek.

Rev 1:4-7

John,

To the Seven *Churches that are in Asia:

Grace to you and also peace from He who IS, and WAS, and IS Coming, and from the Seven Spirits that are before the Throne of God and from Jesus Christ THE faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the RULER of the kings of the earth, that loved us and washed us from our sins in His OWN blood, and has made us kings and priests of God and His Father, unto Him be judgment and dominion for ever and ever, Amen. Behold, He comes among the clouds and every eye shall see Him and those that pierced Him, and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Yes, Amen!”

*ekklesia/church means: those who are called, this is also the first time seven is mentioned in Revelation

Rev 1:8

I AM the Alpha and the Omega the beginning and the ending says the Lord, He who is, and was, and is Coming, the Almighty!”

Rev 1:9-11

I, John who likewise am your brother and companion in *tribulation, also in the kingdom and patience and endurance for the testimony of Jesus Christ, was on the isle called *Patmos, because of the Word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day and I heard behind me a *mighty voice as a trumpet saying “I AM the Alpha and the Omega the first and the last:and what you SEE, write in a scroll and send it to the Seven Churches in Asia to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis and unto Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

*Mighty voice, megas fo-nay in Greek:, its where we get the word megaphone.

Patmos means; my killing. Not a coincidence! He had to suffer tribulation there on that island, to receive this message from Jesus. John uses the word tribulation here for the first time; it means: a pressing, a pressing together or pressure, metaphorically used as oppression, affliction and distress. John uses the term great tribulation for the first time in the next chapter, Rev 2:2 and is used only one other time in Rev 7:14, and for clarity’s sake it’s “great tribulation” not THE great tribulation. In fact there are only 4 occurrences of the words great tribulation “megas thlipsis” in the entire New Testament and only twice in Revelation. Also take notice of the use of the symbol of the trumpet here for the first time. Its used to describe the sound of a mighty voice.

Rev 1:12

And I turned to SEE the voice that spoke with me and when I turned I SAW Seven Golden *Lampstands.

*luchnia G3087 means: lampstand, candelabrum

The Seven Lampstands are the 7 Churches/Manifestations of God “among those called” Ekklesia.

Rev 1:13-20

And in the middle of the Seven Lampstands, one like the son of man clothed with a garment down to the foot and fastened about the breast with a golden sash. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow and His eyes were as flames of fire. And his feet resembled a sliver brilliant luster, as if burned in the furnace and his voice as the voice of many waters. And He had in His right hand Seven Stars and out of His mouth came a two-edged Sword: and His countenance was as the Sun shining in its force. And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as a dead man, and He laid His right hand upon me and said to me “Fear not, I am the first and the last: and I LIVE, and was dead; and behold, I am ALIVE for evermore, Amen; and I have the keys of hell and death. Write the things that you have SEEN, and the things that are and the things that shall come hereafter. The Mystery of the Seven Stars which you saw in my right hand and the Seven Golden Lampstands. The Seven Stars are the Seven Messengers/Angels of the Seven Churches: and the Seven Lampstands you saw are the Seven Churches.

Rev 2:1-3:22

(It is the messages from Jesus to the 7 Lampstands/Churches, to be received by the 7 Stars the 7 Messengers/Angels)

It’s the Lampstand/Churches of:

Ephesus= means Permitted, they called out apostles and found them false, but forgot their 1st love

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”

Smyrna= means Myrrh, they are impoverished and weak in the natural but wealthy in spirit, must be faithful unto death.

I will give thee a crown of life, He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.”

Pergamos =means Height or elevation, they hold firm to His name, but tolerate the doctrines of Balaam and the Nicolaitans.

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth.

Thyatira =means Odor of affliction, they have charity, service, faith, and patience but tolerate Jezebel/False Church

And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:”

Sardis =means The red ones, they are not responsible with what they have heard and seen and are not keeping watch. There are a few in Sardis and they are worthy and walk in white.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his messengers/angels.”

Philadelphia =means Brotherly love, they have little strength but they have KEPT His Word, they have the key of the understanding of David and no one can touch it.

Because thou hast kept the Word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and My new name.

Laodicea =means Justice of the people, they are comfortable and think they are blessed, but they are lukewarm and about to be spewed from Jesus’ mouth.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”

At this point in Revelation the Sevens that are mentioned are:

Rev 5:1-14

And I saw in the right hand of the one seated on the Throne a scroll, with writing within it and on the outside it was sealed with Seven Seals, and I saw a mighty messenger/angel proclaim with a great voice, (megas fo-nay) “who is worthy to open the scroll and the open the seals upon it?” and I wept greatly because no man was found worthy to open and to read the scroll, neither look therein, and one of the elders said to me, “Weep not: Behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has obtained the victory to open the scroll and open the Seven Seals upon it, and I beheld and saw in the midst of the throne amongst the four Beasts and in the midst the elders, there stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having Seven Horns and Seven Eyes, which are the Seven Spirits of God sent out to all the earth, and He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of HIM that sat upon the Throne. and when He took the scroll, the four beasts and the twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb, all of them having harps and golden vials full of aromas that are the prayers of the Saints, then they sang a New song that said ” You are worthy to take the scroll and to open the seals on it: for your were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every kindred, and tongue and people and nation; and have made us unto our God, kings and priests: to reign on the earth, and I saw and I heard the voice of many messengers/angels around the Throne, and the beasts and the elders and the number together was ten thousand times ten thousand, and a thousand thousands; they were saying with a mighty voice “worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and endowment and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and fine speaking, and every created being which is in heaven and on the earth and beneath the earth, and those that are in the sea and all therefore that are in them, heard the utterance of fine speaking and honor and glory and power unto HIM that sits upon the Throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever, and the four beasts said Amen! and the twenty four elders fell down and worshiped HIM that lives forever and ever.

Rev 5:2 the word *mighty messenger/angel is used, the same word as in Rev 1o and a great voice is heard. (it is Moses) He is a mighty messenger, He was the Lord’s first judge chosen to receive and enforce the Laws of God.no man WAS able to open the seals, not even Moses or the High Priests, because all had sinned.v 5:3  the prayer of the Saints v5:8 is the NEW SONG to Jesus that has redeemed us by His Blood. You will also see Moses pop up again in Rev chapter 10 and 15.

Rev Chap 6

And I SAW when the Lamb opened ONE of the SEALS, and I HEARD what sounded like the voice of thunder of one of the four beast said “Come and See” and I looked and saw a white horse and the one that sat on him had a bow and and crown was given to him and he went out conquering and to conquer. And when opening the SECOND SEAL, I HEARD the second beast say “Come and See” and there went out another horse that was red: and given to him that sat thereon, was the ability to take peace from the earth, so men kill one another, and given to him was a mighty sword. And when opening the THIRD SEAL, I HEARD the third beast say “Come and See” and I looked and I saw a black horse and the rider on him had a set of scales in his hand. and I HEARD a voice in the midst of the four beast say “A measure of wheat (less than our quart) for the portions of Ten” (a denarius means :containing ten) and three measures (less than 3 quarts) of barley for the portions of Ten, yet hurt not the oil or the wine.” And when opening the FOURTH SEAL, I HEARD the voice of the fourth beast say “Come and See” and I look and I saw a greenish horse and his name that sat on him was Death and Hell followed with him and Power was given to them over the fourth part of the earth to hill with the sword and with hunger and with death and with the beasts of the earth. And when opening the FIFTH SEAL I SAW under the alter the spirits of those that were slain for the Word of God and for the testimony in which they held. And they cried in a mighty voice saying “How long, Oh Lord Holy and True, until the time you judge and avenge our blood on those dwelling on the earth? then white robes were given to them and it was said to them that they should rest yet for a little season until their fellow-servants and their brothers that will be killed as they themselves is finished. And I looked when opening the SIXTH SEAL and SAW there was a mighty earthquake and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair and the moon became as blood. And the stars of Heaven fell to the earth just as a fig tree sheds her unripened figs when shaken by a mighty wind. And Heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled up and every mountain and island were moved out of their places, and the kings of the earth and the mighty men and every servant and free man hid themselves in the resorts in the rocks of the mountains; and saying to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him the sits on the Throne and from the WRATH of the Lamb: for the Mighty Day of His WRATH has come and WHO shall be able to stand?”

Under the alter are the spirits of those that were killed for the Word of God and the testimony that they held. These are they that died before the Testimony of Jesus, because after the Testimony of Jesus, it is specified as The Word of God AND the Testimony of Jesus.

Rev 1:2, Rev 1:9, Rev 12:17 & Rev 19:10

Rev 7:1-4

And after these things, I SAW four messengers standing on the four corners of the earth holding the four winds of the earth so that the winds would not blow on the earth nor on the sea or on any tree. And I SAW another messenger/angel ascending from the eastern rising light, having the seal of the Living God, and he cried out with a mighty voice to the four angels who were charged to hurt the earth and the sea, saying “Hurt NOT the earth neither the sea nor the trees until we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” And I HEARD the number of those sealed, 144,000.

Rev 7:5-8

12,000 from each of the 12 recognized Tribes of Israel, Judah, Reuben,Gad, Asher, Nephthali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulon, Joseph, Benjamin (Dan and Ephraim are not recognized) Joseph receives a double portion based on scripture, which is why his son Manasseh is recognized. Why do the 144,000 have to be sealed? Because they have to remain upon the earth during the sounding of the 7 Trumpets, the 7 Judgments of God. They are not harmed. These are the residue of the natural seed of the children of Israel.

Rev 7:9-17

After this I looked and saw mighty multitude which No Man could NUMBER of ALL the nations and kindreds and people and tongues standing before the Throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes and palms in their hands, and crying with a mighty voice saying “Salvation to our God that sits upon the Throne and unto the Lamb, and all the messengers standing around the Throne and the elders and the four beasts fell before the Throne on their faces and worshiped God, saying, “Amen, fine speaking and glory and wisdom and thankfulness and honor and power and strength unto our God forever and ever Amen. And one of the elders asked me saying to me “Who are these which are clothed in white robes? and where did they come from? and I said to him ” Sir, you know” and he said to me “These are they that have come out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes and made them white themselves in the blood of the Lamb. Because they are before the Throne of God, and serve HIM day and night in HIS temple: and He that sits on the Throne dwells among them. They no longer hunger, nor thirst anymore; neither does the sun light fall on them nor any heat for the Lamb which is the midst of the Throne feeds them and leads them into living fountains of waters and God wipes away all the tears from their eyes.

Rev 8:1-6

And when opening the SEVENTH SEAL there was silence in Heaven about a half and hour, and I SAW the Seven Messengers which stand before God; and to them were given Seven Trumpets and a different messenger came and stood at the alter having a golden censer; and it was given to him filled with much incense so he brings forth the prayers of the Saints upon the golden altar that is before the Throne, and the smoke of the incense from the prayers of the Saints ascended before God from out of the messengers hand. Then the messenger took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and cast onto the earth and there were voices and thunderings and lightnings and an earthquake. Then the Seven Messengers that had the Seven Trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

The Trumpets are Mighty Voices of Judgment given to the 7 Messengers

It’s Judgment before Wrath, the Judgment of God is to bring about repentance, the Wrath is for those who do not repent of their sin. All sinners will receive the final judgment of the Lake of Fire, so the Judgments in these chapters are not punishment as much as it God turning up the heat on the fruits of their deeds in hopes that they will be moved to repentance.

Rev 8:7-13

The First Messenger sounded and then came hail and fires mixed with blood and it was cast onto the earth: and a third part of the tress was burned up and all the green grass was burned up. The Second Messenger sounded and something like a mighty mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea: and a third part of the sea became blood, and a third part of the creatures that were in the sea and were living died; and a third part of the ships were destroyed, Then the Third Messenger sounded, and their fell a mighty star from heaven burning like a lamp and it fell upon a third part of the river and upon the springs of waters, and the name of the star is called Wormwood: and a third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died because of the waters, because they were made bitter. Then the Fourth Messenger sounded and a third part of the Sun’s light was affected, and a third part of the moon and a third part of the stars, so a third part of them were darkened and the day did not shine for a third part of it and the night likewise, then I SAW and HEARD a Messenger flying though heaven saying with a mighty voice, “Woe, Woe. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth because of the other Voices of the Trumpets of the Three Messengers that have not yet sounded!

Rev 9:1-10

And the fifth angel sounded and I saw a star fall from heaven to the earth, to him was given the key of the bottomless pit and he opened the bottomless pit and there arose smoke out of the pit as the smoke of a great furnace and the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then there came out from the smoke, locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded of them that they do not hurt the grass of the earth. neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those people that do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. Also, to them it was given the ability not to kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment is as the torment of the scorpion, when he stinks a man. and in those days men will seek death and will not find it, and will desire to die, and death will flee from them. And the appearance of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads were like crowns resembling gold and their faces were like the faces of men, and they had hair as the hair or women and their teeth were as a lions. And they had breastplates that were like iron and the sound of their wings was like chariots with many horses running into battle, and they had tails that were like scorpions, and there were stingers in their tails: and their power was to hurt men for five months.

“I would like to point out that the word locusts is only used in the New Testament 4 times, Twice as food for the Prophet John the Baptist, and twice as judgment in Rev 9:3 and 9:7.”
